OUR OPPORTUNITY
Reporting to the Manager of Information and Technology, the Data Analyst supports the design, operations and maintenance of data and statistics systems and develops processes to track, record and support the ingest of data as well as the analysis of data. This position is the key liaison with other staff to supports the use of data and statistics systems, requirements gathering, minor changes to systems and responding to requests for information and visualizations.
The role involves examining data and utilizing statistical techniques to derive insights while collaborating with staff to establish procedures for data ingestion, consumption, and validation. Additionally, it supports the creation of agreements for data sharing with external organizations and develops business processes to track key data. The position also includes assisting in requirements gathering for changes to data systems, producing visualizations to enhance data usage, and monitoring data validation processes.
WHO YOU ARE
Candidates should have a degree in Data Sciences, Computer Sciences, or a related field, along with a minimum of three years of experience managing data analytics or data science initiatives. Additional training or certification in Microsoft Azure learning paths for Data Engineering or Data Management, as well as other relevant certifications in data management, Microsoft Power BI, or data analytics, are considered valuable assets. Furthermore, training or certifications in data protection and security will enhance a candidate’s qualifications.
WHAT WE OFFER
The salary for the Data Analyst position is commensurate with experience and education within a salary range of $70,000 – $78,000.
