The First Nations Tax Commission (Commission) is a national and growing First Nations-led institution established under the First Nations Fiscal Management Act (FMA). The vision is to support and expand First Nation revenue streams to grow the economies on First Nation lands, thereby supporting healthy, vibrant and sustainable First Nation communities. Furthering this vision, the Commission regulates, supports and advances First Nation taxation jurisdiction. The Commission’s head office is on Tk’emlúps te Secwe̓pemc, in Kamloops, BC, and a second location is located in Ottawa, ON.

We welcome applications from individuals with a strong interest in First Nation fiscal governance and the work of the FNTC, who are comfortable in a broad and demanding role and can work closely and collaboratively with colleagues.

We are an equal-opportunity employer that recognizes and celebrates the diversity of all First Nations and people across Canada. Applicants of Indigenous descent are highly encouraged to apply.
